The last time I blogged was in August 2014. Studies have been taking my time. I have written a lot of articles that need to be edited before the post. However, I thought I should just continue on some of the my favourite tunes. Here are my top five SA Hip Hop songs currently. This songs will change from time to time as opposed to neo-soul music that will not change. This list is not exhaustive. I can still add another five to ten favourite.
The first time I listened to this song, I knew instantly that it will be the next hit. It has that effect. A beautiful song indeed. Lets see how long it will dominate. The music industry is unpredictable.
I downloaded this song a long time ago. I just realise that most music fans are late bloomers, or should I say the music compilers. This song was in circulation for about 8 to 12 months before it broke through. Music lovers should know the song before it become it famous. It is not one of those songs that will be 'out of fashion' soon.
I listened to a lot of music, consume a lot of different genres. Obviously there is some inclination. Forest Hill Drive, is one of J Cole's best Albums. This songs are not instantly famous songs that you play once and don't want to listen to it again. You can listen to it over and over again. Just love the Album, which contain songs like Fire Squad, Role Models and Apparently.
What a record, good collaborations, especially the Drake feature. Currently Drake is like Weezy and Rozy two years ago. Whenever they were featured in a song, it became big. I must give it to him, he is good and favoured the world over. For me he is the Apple of music, no wonder he has a deal with Apple. He has his 'quality' followers. Well this is about Big Sean not Drake. His previous album didn't do as well as this one.
Just for the hek of it, lets give honour where is due. I like Drake but would not put him as my favourite. Lets know ourselves. Refer to the previous post. Enjoy.
See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft Cahrlie Puth. I just love the song. Soundtrack from one of the best movies of 2015. Nice sing along. Now lets see along. I doing it already.
It is important to mention that it is not a complete list...somewhere in the future another top 5 songs will pop. But this one kind take me to another level. I must also say that the late Eddie Makhasonge Zondi, Wilson Bafana Nkosi had a huge influence on the kind of music I like. I really love soul music now called neo-soul.

Its no secret by now that I love Natalie Cole, I wrote a post specially highlighting Smile Like Yours.This is one of those songs that makes me wanna speak in tongues of love. It has a specially anointing on it.
One of my favourite songs as well, I used to do a lot of imaginings about this song before I fell in love. The Sunday that Eddie will play this song...I got excited.
Its an open secret that I love Luther Vandross...his music was just on point. Very Soulful and relatable...My friend and I, John used to sing this song holding pillows becuase we couldnt hold each other as we were men...it just took us too far into neverland.
Another song I used to Blues about...when I didnt know better and still shy to even approach a girl and say Hi. I just imagined myself with this person...kind fairy tale. However Life does not happen like that...
Bonus Songs to my Top Five: I just think this song...describe the real person not the fanciful one. At times we imagine the unreal world but the song says everything that I am just loves you including all my fallacies and peccable's.
